This is no longer a hotel. The owners of the Kenton Hotel sold the building to a low-barrier homeless shelter group called Do Good without involving the Kenton Neighborhood in the decision, and Do Good did not show up to the Business Association meeting that they agreed to come to in order to field questions about their intentions.

A great deal booking through Airbnb! Just what I needed for my week-long stay! There is no staff, but all of the privacy you could want and it’s located in Kenton, which is the most charming neighborhood!

I am unfortunately warning you to not book this place. My grandparents flew 5 hours to see me & decided to cancel the hotel to stay with me and they have scammed them out of their money, even though they canceled within the appropriate time frame. There is no one who works at the desk and the people you talk to are from California. It’s not worth the headache to stay here or try to book. I do love Kenton & wish this was a different story, but I wanted to warn people.

Worst hotel experience in my lifetime. Arrived after dark. Could not see the place. A black building with no lights. After a 6 hour drive that day to the hotel, I was looking forward to a good night’s sleep. We had no connection to internet for days and didn’t care, we were on vacation. Well, we couldn’t get into our room as no one was there. We went to another hotel and lost our money on this one. There was a strip club down the street. A long staircase to lug your luggage up to second floor. Bad. Run run run.

Fabulous! I really enjoyed my time here for the Freedom to Thrive 2023 Abolitionist convening. The rooms were comfy and spacious. I enjoyed the wall murals and the outdoor hangout spaces. The air conditioner was strong. The rooms were clean. Id just recommend they invest in softer sheets and supply an extra blanket. I did love having three large pillows.
