The Hostel Cafe is amazing! Friendly servers, delicious food. I just tried the seasonal $10 chickpea salad sandwich and it's so good 😋 Highly recommend

Wonderful stay. The check in was pleasant and quick. They gave me recommendations for what to do. There are fun activities for residents every day. The vibe is wonderful. The location is perfect for Portland, near all the amazing places within walking distance.

I would not stay at this hostel . A lot of the doors to your room do not lock. They have entertainment every night that are fiddler and violin players. It’s a hostile not a old folks home and then on Sunday they play from 11 o’clock until almost 5 o’clock in the only common area with a TV and here’s the kicker nobody’s even in there listening to the junk. It’s just them in their practicing talking Amongst themselves. What a waste!!!!! Like I’ve said about every hostile in the US if you’re gonna try to mimic what European hostels do than get FYI there’s the Best Western in Portland. It’s the Best Western in Beaverton and charge you $1000 flat for a room with a kitchenette that’s right your own room. You don’t have to pay for parking, which is another $200 a month after this joint. And you’re not even in a good neighborhood so now $10 a night for your card to potentially get broken into. Thanks but no thanks. Only positive to this place is that the The bathrooms are fairly clean and the hostel café is above average!!!!!!!

Awesome stay! My only regret was that I only stayed one night. Check in was smooth and the receptionist were very easy to talk to and very helpful with any questions. Restaurant and cafe downstairs was super chill, great coffee!! They even have events in the commons area right behind the cafe. Cozy and welcoming vibe for sure! The commons areas were really cool, especially the secret garden in the backyard. Rooms and bathrooms/showers were super clean! There are even a few private bathrooms and showers that anyone can use, and while showering it felt just like I was in my own home. Lots of opportunities to either have a social evening, or have some solitude for yourself after traveling all day. The location was awesome as well. Extremely walkable area and bus stops are a short stroll away. I would definitely stay here again if I end up in Portland! 10/10

I typically stay at an Airport Hilton, Marriot or etc. But decided to take the plunge on my first hostel/hotel. What an excellent stay. Clean everything, everything was as advertised and the Hostel Cafes breakfast sandwich is exceptional. Great location and the building access worked great. Everything just works exactly as it should, that's rare at ANY hotel. Bravo!
