Everything they’ve built their outstanding reputation on for the past 45 years has been my experience with each and every visit. Comprehensive diagnostics, excellent team of skilled, certified mechanics, transparent communication, friendly staff… I trust them with the care and maintenance of my (dream) car to keep adventuring for many miles/years to come!

I've been going to Tom Dwyer since at least 2018 across two different vehicles (manual transmission & hybrid ev). They've always given me good service, straightforward advice, and a good price. I recommend them to all my friends & family.

Visiting Portland and had trouble with our son’s car starting. Jerrod was very helpful and took care of an overall evaluation same day. Excellent value and gave me options. Would highly recommend Tom Dwyer.

The Best Automotive Service in the Country, and since my husband and I have lived in seven locales/states, we have some experience! No matter how old or new your car is, I suggest that when it needs the next service appointment you call Tom Dwyer Automotive and make an appointment. Even if it's a new car, taking it to the dealer will no doubt cost you more than taking it to Tom's! We love them: Fabulous service, courteous, efficient, honest, and they never do anything that is not needed. We have owned our Lexus NX 300h since 2018 and thus far it hasn't needed much more than new tires and a regular service. This says a lot about Lexus as well as about Tom Dwyer Automotive in Sellwood. And, by the way, their choice is to service cars that are 15 years old or younger. Not age discrimination---never at Tom's---as one car and one person is treated just as respectfully as the other, just good business sense. We love you, Tom and crew!

Great service and great staff! Should have left a review long ago (as I have used them for years and so has my father and my aunt). We always feel we are getting an honest diagnosis and we have even been turned away when dealer wanted to get work and Tom Dwyer staff have clarified “that service is not due yet”… I trust tom Dwyer so much more than my dealer service center (who always seems to want to do extra oil changes and or extra services not needed yet). I highly recommend tom Dwyer!
