Favorite bar in Portland. Great place to relax, get some reading or homework done. Drink selection is great and the food is even better. Get the artichoke dip and thank me later

what a cute place. i am traveling and i was hoping to find a comfy chair to sit, read, mull things over and vibe and here i found it! music not too loud, very chill and relaxing, nice cozy ambience. not polished at all but i would say that makes the place charming. if i lived here i would be a regular for sure!

My wife and I have been coming to The Book Pub for years for the Lit Mic Nights. The location used to be an Irish Pub and still has some of the same decorations are still here. The place is chock a block full of lonely books in need of a forever home. It is quirky Portland at its best. The beer and mixed drinks are top notch. They need a good burger, but the food is good. My wife likes the fries.

Cool bookstore pub on Fremont. A lot of other spots on the same street but this is pretty unique. Great selection of beers as well as hot teas. The staffvis very helpful and knowledgeable about them. Food selections too but I didn't try any. Lots of cool seating areas and you can browse and buy any of the books here. Very nice spot for visiting with friends or just chilling out. Definitely a spot to visit again.
