Much of the stuff at this place is way overpriced. I bought two pairs of training pants for my son for $5 and then looked them up later to realize a six-pack of the same exact ones are sold new for $13.50. Check retail prices before you buy!
I have always enjoyed visiting the Beanstalk (both of them) and took my visiting grandchildren to the Montavilla store when they were here in August. The Beanstalk was a highlight in their trip to Oregon. The kids found a whole cache of Bird and Squirrel books and had great fun looking for and finding the hidden ladybug. Natalie kindly allowed each of the kids to select a prize. She patiently helped Kirsten to make a choice. It was a tough decision but the yo-yo finally won out. Each time I visit the store, the staff is welcoming and super helpful. I have bought many fun things there for the grandchildren. The Beanstalk is one of my favorite shopping destinations.
Beanstalk is always my go-to for the kiddos. An amazing selection every time and new treasurers to explore. When I need last minute cleats, ballet shoes, or water shoes for a camp, they always manage to have exactly what we need and the price is always right. The kids love bringing their spending money just in case a new book or toy catches their eye. Love the staff at this location, always so kind and patient with the kids exploring and finding that tricky ladybug 🐞
I've really been enjoying consigning here lately! I've shopped and consigned with Beanstalk for years, but recently started coming to the Fremont location. I have to say, it's been such a pleasant experienc. It's quite a bit smaller than the Montavilla store, but the staff more than make up for it. They're always so helpful and full of great suggestions- especially since I don't always know what my grandkids are into these days! The only problem is I tend to spend too much every time I stop in- ha! The last time I came in to consign, they even set aside a few items for me to bring back later, which I really appreciated. Just a thoughtful little gesture that made things so mucheasier. A big thank-you to the sweet team at Beanstalk Fremont!
It’s so easy to consign items here and I love that my store credit doesn’t expire for a very long time - as long as you visit every so often your account stays active and I don’t have to worry about it. Staff is always lovely and kind, they’ve been so helpful when I’m looking for something specific and will let me know if I should hang on to my consignment items and bring them back in a different season. Love this place for shoes and sports equipment! We’ve gotten cleats, swim gear, water shoes etc here at a fraction of the price of new. I’ll continue shopping and consigning here as long as my kids fit their sizes and would recommend them to others.
