As upsetting as it is to damage your car, working with Precision makes a difficult situation so much better. Friendly service, great communication (regular status updates via text), and excellent work. Thank you for taking such good care of my car!

More reviews on GoogleWas driving in the rain while underslept and skidded out and rear ended someone. Since it was literally just a fender bender from like a 10mph crash, they just agreed to let me send them a check for the damages. In the mean time, I went and got a bumper for my own car for 100 dollars second hand and got it painted for only 300 dollars, then I put it all together and my car looked great and it fit perfectly. The person I hit accidently took their car here because they didnt have any good connections to shops and this was the first place to show up on google. Then they told them I would be covering it, not insurance, and they jacked up their quote to 14k. 14k??? Literally, their bumper was just bent. Even giving them grace and saying they would have to replace the trunk, crash bar, exhaust tip and everything else behind the bumper doesnt even count to 14k. Also their car is valued at 15k, so I dont think its coincidence that they just happen to value their repair under the value that would total the car. Anyways tho, I just told her to contact insurance since that was ridiculous, and thankfully my insurance took over and tried to negotiate it, they refused and wouldn't let go of the car. My insurance knowing how ridiculous it was only paid out 4k leaving the person that hit screwed by you guys and having to pay the rest of the cost to retrieve their car. I feel absolutely terrible,
I recently got hit by a semi truck and took my car here for the repairs. The insurance company was giving me a little push back on paying for all the repairs. Sara the office manger was great. She kept me in the loop between email and phone calls on a daily basis. She kept up with the insurance company and myself. I was very pleased with the communication as each step of the process was done I would receive a text message stating what's being done and what is the next step. Side note: I highly recommend getting a dash cam if you don't have one. It makes it easier when trying to fight with the insurance company on who's at fault. I was glad to have my car back and it looked brand new. Thank you Precision Autobody.
Very, very unhappy with this experience. Rivian may point you here as they are the only Portland area certified shop. I'd strongly recommend you call the Rivian certified shop in Sandy (especially if you are on the east side of Portland). We had a small dent about a grapefruit size (see picture). It took them more than 2 months to return our car to us. They increased their estimate multiple times, it ended up at over $18k (see limited damage in picture). They returned the car with a trim piece not flush and have not made any real attempts to make it right (or even respond to us at all), we've emailed them for weeks now trying to build a path to resolve. They do not negotiate on their price with you or insurance companies. Once you leave your car with them you are more or less just obligated by their agreement to pay them whatever they decide the bill is at the end in order to get your car back regardless of their poor quality deliverable -- they seem to take advantage of this -- probably worth a law suit or a better business bureau action from someone with extra time on their hands really. Having been rear ended I was not at fault. Regardless I'm still out of pocket over $1,500 a full month after getting my vehicle back. It's been 9 days since my last communication from them despite multiple attempts on my part. Having run a rental car business I've dealt with quite a few body shops that are EV certified. Mackin's on 65th, Freeman Motors. This one was so much worse than any other experience.
I was very grateful when precision took my car as a tow in after I had an accident running over a large curb. Many places had turned me down quoting me 3 months or more before they could take my car. Precision took it much quicker and gave me a realistic time frame of when it would be done. The staff specifically David did a wonderful job of communicating any updates going on with my Subaru. The people at this shop are honest and go above and beyond to take care of their clients. I would recommend this shop to all my friends and family.
