The entire crew at Splendid are great. They take the time to explain even the smallest details to make sure you get exactly what you need. And any place that sells Bullitts is top notch in my book.

Stopped in today to just browse, since I was out on the Springwater. Joel walked up and taught me a ton about cargo ebikes, and we just had a good general chat. No sales pressure. The guys at the shop were cool dudes, and in our chat, I mentioned my pedal had fallen off earlier. Joel grabbed a pedal wrench and fixed the pedal, so I could finish my ride worry free. He also snipped some pins on my fender and capped them for safety. All in all, I'd trust any bike these guys have on their sales floor. The prices are right and they offer quite a few models/brands. What a great introduction to the Portland cycling scene.

Butch and his co-workers were super helpful and quickly diagnosed stuck caliper pistons on our e-bike and fixed the problem in a day turnaround. Easy location right off spring water trail, and awesome because they would work on Magura brakes when other shops would not. Totally reasonable prices, nice people, great service, what’s not to like?

I have not been to the brick and mortar location but rather ordered my Larry vs Harry Bullitt bike over email/phone. The experience was phenomenal, Erin and Kelly were so kind and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. They answered all of my questions in great detail and kept me up to-date with the progress of the build with photos. The shipping process was easy with no damage to the bike (which was ideal). I can not recommend this shop enough and look forward to visiting in person some day! ***Small Update*** I finally had the opportunity to visit the shop and everyone there was so kind and they remembered my build (kind of fun). I was also impressed with how easy it was to get there using transit or the Biketown bikes (even in a slightly more industrial area of town). I enjoyed chatting with Barb and learned about how Portland became so bicycle, transit, and pedestrian friendly though regional planning.

10/10 for Splendid Cycles. Daryl, Barb, Joel and the whole team have been exemplary through our (rather lengthy) bike purchasing process. They allowed us to test ride bikes, spanning multiple visits to the shop, even allowing us to borrow a bike to test on our normal commute. There was zero pressure and total understanding that a cargo bike can be a substantial purchase. But that said, you should totally get a cargo bike. Splendid has facilitated a bunch of fun family adventures, and they continue to be helpful for bike maintenance and modifications.
