Slim’s is such a delightfully pleasant spot for dining, drinking, and being merry. The vibe is fantastic, and the food is so good, especially for how affordable it is. I had the special, a steak and blue cheese hoagie with potato soup, and it was absolutely awesome. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
Best Dive Bar in Portland, classic St Johns vibes! Always go there when I'm in town visiting! Great drinks!!!!
This place won't be for everyone. But I personally dig a good dive bar! And the fact I could bring in my 85lb Boxador just made it that much better. From the staff, food and interactions with other patrons I enjoyed it all! I will definitely be stopping in the next time I venture through Portland.
The best burger I've ever had, hands down. The tachos were also excellent and I was pleased to find Sriracha for them. Pool and pinball round out a fun evening with friends
Slim's karaoke nights are so fun!!! I highly recommend. I went on a Tuesday, watched karaoke, and played pool. Their fries with Cajun seasoning are top-notch. I would definitely go back. Staff were very helpful & kind too!!! Also the bathroom was clean, which is not taken for granted at a bar.
