Les Schwab Tire Center has been our go to for tire purchases for 30 years! Good quality tires at reasonable prices and very informative about what tires would be best for a variety of vehicles that we have owned in the past. Fast and friendly service. We have never had an issue with this company! Oh, and we have never had to pay a dime for flat tire repairs!
Les Schwab saved us in a minor emergency! We were on a road trip seeing family during that dead period between Christmas and New Years. That time when many small businesses close for lack of customers but large businesses can't get enough staff to cover shifts for the customers that come in. I don't know if they were understaffed but they were overworked for sure. The lot was full of cars needing service and there were more work bays with cars than employees. So anyways, I noticed our car had a tire approaching flat when visiting family. We limped the car to Les Schwab and were dismayed by how many people were waiting. They took the keys and said it would be awhile. We cabbed back to our family party and four hours later hadn't heard from Les Schwab. On the phone, the staff member couldn't guarantee that the car would be seen before they closed. For us, this was an emergency, being hours away from home and checked out of our hotel. We had no options if we couldn't drive. Once we returned to the store they had a better estimate of time left, three unscheduled cars ahead of ours. We settled in with popcorn bags and our cellphones for entertainment and waited. The tire hadn't lost any more air, but they did find a puncture spot. Just filling the tire with new air probably would have gotten us home but they fixed the puncture - for free - and sent us on our way with a safety checklist of other things to look at when we got home. There's a reason I use Les Schwab for anything tire related and have for forty years of driving. I trust them and they've always taken care of problems affordably.
I'm done with Les Schwab! I bought tire chains a week ago. I decided to go a different route with chains and tried to return them today. I have the original receipt and never opened the package. Today I was told it's "company policy" that chains cannot be returned until April 1st. Company policy is happy. I am not. Company policy can pay their bills from now on and not me. I've been happy with their battery replacement warranty (and used it) in the past. That's the only reason they're getting 2 stars instead of one.
Went in with 2 tires leaking air and expecting to buy 4 new ones. The tech was able to fix the leaky valve stems saving me about $1200. They didn’t even charge for the repair which blew my mind! I’m bringing all my vehicles here in the future. Stand-up crew @ this location.
Les Schwab handled my tire rotation and alignment work expeditiously. The staff quoted a date that the team easily exceeded, allowing me to address other personal commitments. The waiting room was comfortable and equipped with free wifi.
