Had a vehicle towed that was running. After tow the motor did not have enough compression to start or run.50, 50, 70, 70 psi. They don't lock vehicle and leave keys in cab. Beware

Tracy Streeter has been amazing with our Dodge Journey ever since I stopped in with a flat tire. He’s courteous, well informed and takes the time to explain things. No pressure. Just easy service. I trust Tracy and Gill’s Point S with all our service needs.

Oregon state troopers had my truck towed by Olson brothers towing on 1/29/26. The truck had no issues and the trooper had me pull it into a spot in the parking lot where it would be out of way. it started up and i moved it parked it straight, no vehicle in front of it and gave them the key. when i went to pick it up on 2/11/2026 i got the total it would cost over the phone and i ended up having to go to a different bank(mine closed at 4). So i try to call and tell them I'm going to be a few minutes late but nobody answers. I went there and arrived 6 minutes late and the first question they ask is does your truck run? yes i said it was running when it was towed. Then they charge me an extra 100 dollars for the gate fee. they had to i was told even though there are 6 people that are already there. so i paid the 1118.00 dollars which included the 100 dollar gate fee. Go out to my truck which is not locked and has the key somewhere in the cab. We could not find it but after i go get a spare key the attendant found the key in the cab. i try to start and it cranks but does not start. then he tells me that the tow truck driver tried to start it but it would not start. ive had the truck for 5 years and it has never not started. there was no reason to start it that i can think of. Got no explanation from them about what happened. So instead of telling me hey something happened and your truck doesn't run anymore so you might as well come tomorrow they get the 100 dollar gate fee and i have to get it towed out the next day. 50 dollars should have been charged for 1 more day and no gate charge. the truck running when it was towed and not starting at all when it was done is another issue. i would not use them again at this point. Also had to remind them that my change should be 82 dollars not 2 dollars.

I found Olson Brothers (now Gills Point S) 35 years ago. We have gone to them for all our cars ever since. Even though they changed the name, the service and the people are still the same: reliable, pleasant, and efficient, with good communication skills.

Went there to fix my work van. Nice guys, small waiting area. Coffee in the lobby but no cups.
