Children's Space is a warm and welcoming in-home daycare. My 2 year old loved her teachers and the friends she made. They offer a wide-range of rotating activities with early learning in mind, including: music, art, dress-up, storytime, sensory, and even yoga. You can tell they truly love the children in their care.
My daughter had the most wonderful experience in Lizet’s school. She was singing in Spanish after the first week and was always happy with her teacher and friends in the group. Lizet was amazing with her students and cared so much about their well-being. We knew my daughter would only be in her program for a little over a month and Lizet made sure she knew there would be a transition and did a lot of prep work with her to make it smooth. I cannot praise Lizet and her program enough, I highly recommend sending your child here, her passion shows with every greeting and every goodbye.
While we ended up enrolling in a daycare that was able to get us in sooner -- I just wanted to share the incredible experience I had with Lizet...I interacted with her multiple times to get our daughter on the waitlist and schedule a tour of her in-home daycare. During the tour, the kiddos there were so happy and well cared-for, and the space itself was so engaging, safe and educational for kids. We're hoping to send our daughter in the future! From this limited interaction alone, I'd highly recommend Lizet and Children's Space LLC.
We love Lizet! Most importantly, she is kind and fun. My 17 month old daughter absolutely loves her. She is also an excellent teacher and an expert on child development. The space is beautiful and perfectly arranged for children to grow, learn, and explore. Finding daycare in Portland can be challenging (it was a NIGHTMARE for us), and we cannot believe how lucky we are to have found this daycare. Your child will love it here and will develop their Spanish as well.
My 15 month old daughter has been going to Children's Space for almost 6 months now and we absolutely love it. She is very happy there and loves Lizet; sometimes picking her up is a struggle because she doesn’t want to leave, I take that as a great sign! Lizet is a very loving and patient person and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. I really like that my daughter is growing in a bilingual (English/Spanish) environment with activities that help her development. I would definitely recommend this daycare to other parents.
