I went to VOA, and I have to say, the staff there are incredible. They’re so helpful and genuinely treat everyone with the utmost respect. They take the time to communicate and truly want to help.

This organization does not care about their community. They consistently run illegal (above the legal decibel limit) gas-powered leaf blowers in their parking lot that can be heard from literally a mile away. Management has done nothing despite complaints from the neighborhood. Parking lots should not receive preferential treatment over people with ears.

ALL the workers are on a different page and when you ask a question none of them have got an answer to it. They are very UNORGANIZED. OUT OF THE WHOLE STAFF AND I MEAN ALL THE STAFF THAT WORK AT V.O.A. THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON THAT KNOWS HOW TO HELP YOU CONNECT TO YOUR ONLINE CLASSES {WebEx}, NOBODY ELSE KNOWS HOW TO WORK THE WEBEX SYSTEM, SO THAT MEAND YOU HAVE TO WAIT TILL THAT ONE PERSON {¶AUL} goes INTO WORK, & UNTIL THEN YOU'RE pretty much S.O.L... Plus plus they don't even have most of the books that you will be required to have for your classes, they basically use a "first come first serve" "you better grab it fast" type of deal which is not fair, especially if you're really there to try to learn and do your best for your family.....

Don't even consider donating your car via this organization. They only got $175 for our 2006 sedan in fine running condition. I confirmed with them they followed their standard process. We used the car up until the day we donated it. If you want to give money to a charity sell your car on the private market and donate the money. Their process of putting cars up for auction can generate an outrageously low value and your charity gets practically nothing. We wanted to do a good deed and they generated a fraction of what the car was worth for charity. I could have sold it on the street corner for more money in 5 minutes. Unacceptable.
