Eddie at Top Flight Roofing did great! He did a complete tear down. He was fast and reliable. He priced matched the other roofers and offered better by providing a 10-year labor warranty. Communication updates were superb. Impressed by it being a 1-day roofing job with his entire crew to meet deadline. Thank you so much, Eddie! 5 stars!!
Eddie was very attentive, and the best thing about everything he was willing to get paid out of escrow! Because we were on a time crunch, they brought in extra people to complete the job on time. I would highly recommend him.
We used Top Flight to replace the flat roof portion of a historic home, with a couple of chimneys, a trap door and some vents. We bid a number of firms, and they were competitive. While it took a while to schedule given the weather and other constraints, once the job started, the team did good work (I was able to walk the roof at the end to verify everything). Communication was good throughout, and Eddie would regularly text video updates as they progressed through the project. Finally, they did a good job with cleanup, leaving the place clean after they were done.
This is my second time writing a review about Top Flight Roofing. I took the first one down at their request because they promised they were going to resolve our concerns. Well nothing has happened and I still have an unpaid water remediation bill and parts of my home that have not been repaired. Also they "justified" all of the expenses of improper work that was completed at full profit to state they don't feel they should reimburse me any monies for their poor workmanship. Top Flight was originally picked through a referral to remove and replace our roof. Eddie was in charge of scheduling and completing the project. He was unable to schedule staff or materials to arrive and after countless promises, none of which that came true the work kept getting pushed. Finally the roof was removed and some of it installed, but with weather on the way we expressed concern about covering the roof. Eddie stated he would, but never did, and the water leaked into the house causing damage. We had a water remediation company come in that Eddie agreed to and then asked about covering the roof or completing the project before the next rain. He said it would get done and it didn't and then we had more water damage from the next storm. We fired Top Flight and hired another contractor who took pictures of the work done and we have verified there were four types of underlayment, none of which were what we agreed to in our contract. The shingles that were installed were done so incorrectly with holes all over the place and were already allowing water in the house. We asked Top Flight to provide an insurance claim for the damage and they said they would and didn't. After doing research on the WA L&I website it showed their license is not active and they are not insured or bonded even though they claimed to be multiple times throughout our ordeal. When confronted with this information Licet the owner stated the information needed to be updated and they would take care of everything. They asked me to take down my review which I did and they reached out to the remediation company. They still wouldn't provide insurance information and after contacting their insurance directly, even though they put a policy on the WA L&I website it is only valid in OR and not WA. This company is misleading people and does not act in good faith. We have been more than patient and accommodating only to be treated terribly. We started this process in September and we are headed into January with no resolution. I'm not sure where all these good reviews come from but our experience has been nothing but bad and I wouldn't give them a star if I had the choice. BEWARE THIS IS NOT THE TYPE OF COMPANY YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH!
Eddie is great, him and his whole crew did amazing work! I recommend going through them if you need some roofing done. They did exactly what I wanted and needed, I really couldn’t be happier. I 100% recommend going through Top Flight Roofing LLC
