Lovely neighborhood hangout. Good beer. Good music. Good vibes. Support local, y'all. January 2026. In the last few months, I've fallen into the depths with Neptune, the Baltic porter. Excellent. Take the dive. February 2026. A model of the Portland brewery scene.
Good beer & great service, but unfortunately we did not enjoy the food item we tried (Combo Zapiekanka) at all. We are Polish food fans, but the quality and value of this Zapie was a big disappointment to us. YMMV, but would recommend trying a small/half portion as your first experience before spending $15 on something you may not enjoy and have to toss out.
What an amazing neighborhood gem Threshold is! We pitched the owner, Sara on an out there idea for a birthday bingo event and she was not only game, but made the whole experience so so delightful! Ricky was a rad bartender and the space was the perfect vibrant place for it. I definitely recommend attending or throwing events here!
What a gem. Discovered on my way to the airport. Great vibes! Great grub! Great beer! What more can you ask for? Oh yeah, great pricing! A+ highly recommend!
Threshold Brewing has great Polish style themed beer. I rarely get to Montavilla, but it is worth the effort. There is only street parking, but it is easy enough to find to the north in the neighborhood. The business is dog friendly and has dog treats. There is a beer club and the brewery offers snacks and Zapiekanka, a Polish style pizza.
