We had a very short timeline to get our studio up and running. Stagecraft came, helped with our site plan, made the curtains and tracks we needed, and installed in a very painless way in within our budget. We will be expanding, and will use them again.

Jeffery and Megan were on the rigging work they did for me and they were awesome. They were very friendly and answered all my crazy question about rigging. They are an great team and I couldn't be happier with they work they did. Thank you.

Stagecraft has been great to work with! They did our original rigging, and are always just a phone call away if I have an issue. Everyone is patient and knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions or address any concerns. My annual inspection was painless :), and also a fabulous learning experience. Can't say enough good things!!

We have had a very frustrating negative experience with this company. When we first moved into our new space we talked on the phone with one of their "experts" and explained our needs of needing to divide our large space into two rooms in order to teach on both sides of the room. We heard about these "acoustic" curtains and decided to talk to them about it. We explained our needs very clearly and had one of their experts come to our building to look at our space. We wanted someone in Portland so that we could have an in person meeting at our space in order to get their opinion on what we needed. Gary (their expert) came for a consultation and we explained our needs. Gary was very nice and seemed very honest and trustworthy. When he came in we again explained our need for noise reduction and what we would be using it for. He said that their acoustic curtain would work "perfect for your needs" and that they use this curtain to divide large rooms into small spaces for music classes. Music classes! We decided to get this curtain because of the conversations we had with Gary. He seemed to really understand our needs and seemed very knowledgeable. At no point did he say that this curtain would not work for us nor that it would not reduce noise, he actually said the opposite. Fast forward to us paying them a lot of money for this "acoustic" curtain, to find out that the curtain does not provide ANY noise reduction. You can even hear people whispering or even walking from one side to the other. We called to complain a couple of times and we were given "solutions" as in "well the noise is going through the top of the curtain where there's a gap, we recommend hiring a contractor to fix that." We did, spent more money, and it did not help. We unfortunately decided to rely on this company's expertise but it looks like all they wanted was to sell us a curtain. Today we spoke with one of the owners to complain and try to return the curtain. We are a small company and spending that much money on the curtain and contractor really hurt us. We would have NEVER EVER spent this amount of money if we knew it wasn't going to work for our needs. I wish Gary was upfront from the very beginning on the limitations of the curtain instead of saying "this will work great for your needs." The owner spent an hour on the phone trying to put the blame on us for making this decision and saying they provided exactly what their drawing said. He (Kevin) said that what Gary said during the consultation was his opinion solely and was not something they can promise. Kevin was very condescending during our conversation and at no point showed any signs of compassion or comprehension regarding our complaint or situation. He pretty much said we are stuck with the curtain and we should keep it because it provides "aesthetic appeal". If we wanted just aesthetic appeal we could have gone a regular curtain and not paid this much money for an "acoustic" curtain that "will be perfect for your needs" as promised by Gary. He kept referring to us not having written proof of what Gary said. Looks like we need to start recording every meeting with consultants from now on? This company not only did not provide the solution we needed (explained over and over to them from the start) but also talked down to us when discussing this over the phone, blaming us for this and not taking any blame for providing false information during a consultation. That was the most frustrating phone conversation I've ever had with a company. Now we're stuck with a curtain that does not provide any noise reduction as promised, gets dirty easily and cost a lot of money.
