I’ve taken two different classes now, and both were absolutely wonderful. The space is cozy and inviting with the best light. I’ve done one with a friend and one solo, and everyone is so friendly and warm. I think people love knowing they are in a space where they can connect with kind people and have a little escape for a few hours! The instructors are super helpful to all levels and very knowledgeable! I have loved both classes and can’t wait to sign up for my next one!

This sweet spot in Sellwood has been a treasure trove for creative exploration, community connection and festive gifts. The shop owners are so lovely and friendly. The three instructors I’ve met for the classes I’ve taken are so inspiring and kind. Art & Crafts can often felt gate kept, but here it’s a fun space to create, unwind and leave the rat race at the door. Check out their class list, chat with a participant and explore their intentionally curated retail offerings.

I had so much fun in my first workshop that I signed up for another while I was there! The space is welcoming and comfortable, and the workshop was perfectly paced. I made espresso cups, and Allison made the whole process completely enjoyable while also giving me a deep appreciation for hand made mugs and pottery. I can’t wait to pick up my cups and to do my next workshop!

I love Makerspace! I have taken several classes here: visible mending, bundle dyeing, ice dyeing, platter and mug making. They’ve all been so fun and well taught. I can take the skills I’ve learned and do any of these things at home now. Thank you Mackenzie and Alison for creating such a beautiful and fun place to learn new things and meet new people!

Ok.. This place is so freaking adorable! Super clean scandi feel interior with a curated selection of hand made gifts & cards. I've also taken two workshops here so far - Candle making and Wreath making. Both were so intimate and fun. Highly recommend checking them out! Support local!!
