Best vintage shop in Portland, hands down. Offers a myriad of diverse vendors all with their own unique take on antiques, decor, media, and of course vintage clothing curation. There is something for everyone here, and the store itself is massive. I return frequently to explore areas of the shop I may not have looked through thoroughly during my last visit, as well as to see what fun new items the vendors have brought in recently.
I pulled my daughter out of school early to drive a long distance on the search for a tina turner dress. I found the exact item in stock about 10 of the dresses! I was so excited; I've been to many stores and they've all recommended Hollywood Vintage.....only to be turned away. Unfortunately this is poor customer experience. While the store has the legal right to refuse the sale, their decision resulted in a missed opportunity to make a sale and a negative experience for a motivated customer.
Such an amazing selection! I absolutely love the variety in vendors and I appreciate how many there are. Are some items pricier? Yes. But I choose to buy items I think are worth the price they are marked as. Great place if you like fashion styles/ items such as: Graphic Tees, 80s, 90s, 00s, Denim, Grunge, Alt, New Wave, Pastels Also the layout of this place so cool it’s like a maze!
it's definitely pretty expensive depending on the vendor. though if anything it makes me wonder what the fees are for the vendors here? has to be out the wazoo. absolutely huge selection, there are two floors that i'm aware of. it was honestly a bit overwhelming but was great to have so many options. i got a tank top for $19 and my sister got a long sleeve for $14. her item didn't have a price tag but they just asked her to find something else from the vendors booth so they could figure out a price. the staff are pretty chill here. i'm surprised to read the reviews but my group didn't have an issue and they were pretty accommodating just maybe not super social like some other places.
This vintage store has always been favored amongst my family and friends for as long as I could remember. Has by far the coolest selection of sunglasses I believe I've ever came across. And some wicked cool taxidermy shit that'll have you believing that damn things alive lol. Really cool t-shirt collection as well, really great for anyone who loves vintage band tees for sure. Plus around Halloween season they've had some of the coolest costumes I've ever seen for some of the most affordable prices I think this city has to offer. So if you're ever in the area, definitely come check out Hollywood Vintage and all the cool items it has to offer.
