Ever wonder what Portland coffeehouse culture used to be like before the corporate coffee takeover? Well, the Hof delivers on all fronts with its friendly and knowledgeable baristas, warm, inviting, and cozy atmosphere in an old Victorian home in Goose Hollow. It’s more than a fine place to while away an afternoon with a good book or a good friend.

Fehrenbacher Hof — Goose Hollow Neighborhood First time stopping by, and wow what a great spot. The coffee is amazing. I had the peppermint latte and a breakfast sandwich on gluten-free bread, and both were delicious. Highly recommend this place definitely worth a stop if you’re in the Goose Hollow area! ☕️✨

This is the cutest coffee shop and you have to find it. We went when the leaves were falling and say outside. There is a backroom like a nook with tables as well as seating inside. We got the breakfast burrito with vegetarian sausage. The flavor was so good. My wife got the breakfast sandwiche with corned beef and it was too die for. The corned beef was tender with tomatoes and cheese. We also got the traditional breakfast sandwiche with reuben sauce and cheese. There is a good selection of pastries. You can get your traditional coffee drinks. We got a hot and cold peppermint mocha. We also got the iced latte with cherry and vanilla. You need to try this little coffee shop. As we were leaving we were told there is an upstairs area. Very cute and quiet.

I regularly forget that this place exists and then rediscover it again. Absence makes the heart grow fonder! It really is a lovely coffee shop that feels timeless in a way that a comfortable coffee shop should, one of those gentle eddies in the Portland flow.

Being a travel lover, this is the most fun mix of German and Portland decor! The food (breakfast burrito) is amazing and full of flavor and the maple latte truly tastes like maple syrup! A local spot with regulars known but name, babies and pets, and cozy tables in back and out front.
