As a baldman, I have had my head shaved by a few diff folks across town. Far and away one of my favorite experiences so far, and I’ve lived here for the better part of 2 decades now. Chelsea was kind and professional, felt completely at ease in her chair. The vibe of the shop is exactly what you want from a quality establishment in PDX circa 2026. Highly recommend, bring cash (cash only shop, keep it local) and tip well. Everyone seems like a boss!

Genuinely not understanding these reviews. Went in for a very simple cut, was told I was reaching my limit when asked for more to be cut. It felt as thought she was purposefully not cutting enough just to run the clock up. First time I’ve ever been told “this is the limit”. Well give me a fade and I won’t have to keep asking! $9 (20% tip) wasn’t enough, was told “well most people just do $10.” Good lord, forgive me for pinching my pennies after a $45 trim. Keep the $10 then. A haircut shouldn’t feel like a trap or a passive aggressive experience. Still looking for a Portland barber 😩

Recently moved into the neighborhood and was looking for a new barbershop, so I decided to try out Cowlick. Chelsea was super friendly and gave me an awesome cut. I will definitely come back again

Had an amazing experience with Chelsea today She fit me in last minute with no appointment and still took her time to give me a great cut. She's talented, welcoming, and genuinely cares about her clients. Definitely my go-to now

very disappointed with my cut, i tried to do my research to find someone who does well with curls and ended up getting my hair thinned at the appointment. thinning shears on curls mess up your curl pattern and is quite literally the worst because itll take your whole head of hair to grow back to fix. please start refusing cuts if you’re not knowledgeable with the pattern.
