I have used Climate Control for my heating and air conditioning for 25 years. They have kept my now quite old HVAC appliances running efficiently through twice/year maintenance. Anthony Newborn just performed my heating maintenance - he is very knowledgeable and pleasant. I appreciate that they make recommendations for maintenance work and let me schedule it when convenient for me.

DISHONEST AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CLIMATE CONTROL! I would not recommend Climate Control to anyone! Extreme disrespect for the customer. They gave us a 3 hour appointment window (9:00-12:00) to come service our HVAC unit in our apartment. They never gave us any heads up that they were on their way and did not call us when they arrived. The only alert we received that they were here was from our building concierge, that was at 9:47. We did everything in our power to reply as fast as possible. Climate Control told us their policy is they will wait 10 minutes. We replied inside of that window at 9:56 (and provided documentation) and their technician had already left. Our concierge said that they left because they told the tech that they did not have roof access, which was not needed to begin with. Then they delivered us a $165 missed appointment fee, and claimed their technician’s arrival and departure were gps tagged from 9:30-10:00. Well their technician must have been sitting in his truck playing games on his phone. We were never notified the tech was on his way or had arrived, until 9:47. We canceled work meetings to make ourselves available for this 3 hour appointment window, and within 9 minutes of being notified they had arrived, they were gone. Then their technician put in his notes that the appointment was “missed”, even tho he left on his own after our concierge told him he didn’t need roof access, which he didn’t! I called their office 30 minutes later and they confirmed with me that the tech left due to not having roof access. Our property management team had to step in and clarify with their service manager that roof access was not needed. Then after talking with their Service Manager, they still wouldn’t waive the missed appointment fee, blaming us for not responding between 9:30-10:00. They asked me to provide documentation of the inbound phone calls, which we never received from their tech, only from our concierge. Then they sited that as lack of proof and told us the bill is non-negotiable. This was dragged out for over a month! Absolutely ridiculous and NOBODY should do business with them. They are dishonest, and don’t treat the customer well. I gave in-depth details, got dragged around in circles between different people getting different information. Then they tell me it’s non-negotiable. An absolute joke of a company and their Service Manager is especially terrible. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CLIMATE CONTROL
My heating systems has been acting up for months. I tried various options to rescue my old furnace and at times your technicians worked wonders. Particularly helpful was Ian McIntosh. He took time to explain what needed to be done to eventually take care of my heating problems. I appreciated his kind and patient manner. We set and appointment for an advisor to come and give me an estimate for a replacement furnace , when the time comes. It was a great experience to visit with Zachary Turner who worked out the best option for me. His knowledge was amazing and his well thought out options made sense and made me feel confident. My new furnace will come from CLIMATE CONTROL, the company wich gave me great service for 30 Years. Anneliese Einwaller.
Ian of Climate Control was on time, professional, courteous and knowledgable. He was able to t/s my 39 year old furnace with ease. diagnose the failing part and recommend a newer unit and he explained everything thoroughly and got me up and running. I will recommend Ian and the company he represents, surely they are aware of his great attributes, I'm pretty sure he needs a raise. Thank you Ian for the great and timely service you provided.
