I had been collaborating with artists here until the owner unexpectedly terminated their lease during the holidays, offering no explanation. The owner forced a bunch of artists to move at a time when they rely on making sales the most. Please go show your support for the shops toward the back of the building—they deserve better than what that building owner has to offer.

While I'm all for shopping local, I found the arrogance of one of the shop owners here extremely off-putting. I'd rather purchase Etsy-quality wares online without the constant virtue signaling.

One of my favorite 1-stop shops in Portland. Right off Alberta (who’d have thought?), Alberta Studios gives small business owners space enough to sell their goods and a communal environment to so. I want to highlight The Mustard Seed especially - family owned/run and the most welcoming vibe. Stop by for amazing gifts, warm conversation, and incense *breathes in* so much intense 🤌🏼

This is a incredible place on Alberta St, you will indefinitely be pleased by the comforting atmosphere. The shops are all locally owned and operated, from jewelry and art to old classical records and rock music. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is in the are visiting and or into such things.
