Horrible. Very pushy and they try to rush you …. Front desk girls are great people though … that doctor ? HORRIBLE she does not “care” about her patients and I actually felt extorted out of 200$ for oral sedation only for them to not even pull all the teeth I was too nervous the first time so they pretty much forced the oral Sedation. . I wasn’t fully numb and needed more , instead of doing that doctor walked out n recommended putting me to sleep & didn’t finish or numb me more …. Horrible experience DO NOT GO HERE!!!

More reviews on GoogleI was referred to Dr. Abe from an emergency dentist for wisdom tooth extraction after an infection. From my first visit, she was extremely cold and rushed through the appointment, leaving almost no time for questions. Any I did ask were met with very short answers and no explanations. After having all four wisdom teeth removed, I had severe pain by day three and asked to be seen. The receptionist was kind and got me in right away, but Dr. Abe barely looked at me, truly less than 20 seconds, before saying, “Pain is normal, you’re fine.” When I asked, “So is it healing okay? It’s not infected or anything? It looks normal?” she said, “Well I don’t know, I can’t see anything back there. But stop worrying, this is normal, you are fine.” She prescribed a steroid and told me to use my syringe to clean the sockets, saying stuck food was causing the pain. That was only about 50 hours after surgery. Another dentist later told me this terrible advice is what caused my dry socket, since I followed all aftercare instructions exactly. You should never use a syringe on a forming blood clot that soon. I washed mine out because she told me to. When I called back days later in extreme pain, they couldn’t get me in. I called Dr. Abe directly, and she again said I was fine. I ended up going to the ER the night before my follow-up because the pain was unbearable. At the next appointment, she looked in my mouth for maybe 10 seconds and told me I had dry socket. I started crying out of frustration, asking if there was anything she could do to help. She stood back, pulled her glasses down, and said, “I don’t know what you expect me to do for you right now.” When I asked for more pain meds, she refused and told me ibuprofen would be fine… ibuprofen for DRY SOCKET. I’ve never asked for pain medication in my life and was in agony, hence needing to go to the literal ER for this pain. I left in tears and went straight to another dentist, who was shocked at her treatment and surgical care. They repacked the socket more carefully, gave me proper aftercare instructions, and I immediately began to feel better. The emergency dentist who referred me was furious when he heard what happened and couldn’t reach her. If your procedure is simple, maybe you’ll be fine. But if you’re anxious, have questions, or experience any complication, you could not be in worse hands. Dr. Abe caused the most physically and mentally exhausting 10 days of my life - do NOT go here.
I was referred here by my dentist and after weeks of waiting I had to call them to schedule the appointment for a consultation. They asked what sedation I wanted and I said I wanted IV sedation for anxiety and other health reasons. They said they could give me the laughing gas and a $200 Valium (I’ve since talked to my primary dentist and psychiatrist who both said that $200 after insurance was crazy for Valium), I reaffirmed that I wanted the IV sedation. I schedule the appointment and I arrive 15 minutes early, spend around 30 minutes filling out paperwork only for them to have never gotten my referral and have to reschedule. I think “yeah, that’s okay, it was probably just a system error, they’re a small practice so that’s okay.” I come back the next week and they pull me into the back to get my x-rays done in a tiny corner (if you’re 250lb+ don’t even bother, the seating is the only fat friendly part of this place) and put into one of the operation rooms. They had trouble finding my paperwork and asked if I’d done it online, I said I never got a text message and filled it out on paper. They eventually find it and go through some of the questions and I answer them, they ask me what medications I’m taking and I go through the list and the nurse places the forms in my hand and tells me to write it down so I do, I also inform them that I have a rare kidney disorder that doesn’t really do anything but make me waste salt faster and caused failure to thrive. After that the main dentist walks in, goes over my chart, asks me more questions about my meds and then my kidney disorder and I had to re-explain that it doesn’t have any effect on my health currently and shouldn’t affect the sedation. I’ve pushed for IV sedation for personal mental health reasons since day one and she told me that she didn’t want to treat me because she was worried about my kidney disorder and how it would affect the sedation. I said I’ve been under sedation twice for two separate procedures before and it’s never been a problem. I asked if I could get a note from my primary care doctor that says that my kidney disorder won’t affect sedation and the nurse says that after talking with the dentist, they’re going to refer me to a hospital and that I won’t be getting treatment there. I call in a week later and ask what hospital they’re referring me to, where it is, who the surgeon is and if they’re in network, and a good faith estimate of how much it will cost. I’m pretty frustrated at this point but I’m trying to be polite because I know it’s probably not the receptionist’s fault. She doesn’t answer any of my questions, acts like she just wants to get off the phone with me, and says that insurance will pick the hospital and will call me in a few weeks. I’ve found a new place that is leagues better and actually give a shit about me.
Staff were very nice and helpful. Dr. Abe was great! She went over my x-rays and sedation info and was very thorough when explaining the dental work I will be receiving when I come for my next visit. Everyone was great! Thank you!
She was horribly impatient. When I asked her to wait for the numbing agent to work more, she became rude and irritated with me and walked out. Then proceeded to start talking about me out in the hallway with her tech, like i wasn't sitting in the next room. She then sent the tech in to try to explain to me the procedure. I said i understood i just asked that she wait a little longer for more numbing to work. The dentist then came in and started talking about not wanting to do the procedure unless I was sedated - which was not an option for instance. I got upset, frustrated and frankly felt very disrespected from her talking badly about me i ended up cussing and walking out. I will never EVER suggest anyone go here. And will pass the experience on to my dentist who referred me. Most people are anxious and scared of dental procedures... to be treated with disrespect and talked about like that in ear shot of a patient is very unprofessional. Hopefully she'll learn from this, but I'm not going to waste my time trying again with her.
