Horrible, awful. The voice system is worthless: caught in a loop with options that do not apply. Try (and try and try) and CANNOT speak to an agent. The worst!

More reviews on GoogleI really hate to leave a bad review, but the staff at this post office counter are horrible. I have an Etsy business and I’ve been shipping padded envelopes all over the US for more than a decade. These staff members have required that I send these envelopes certified mail. This is not a requirement. This cost more money because they don’t know postal rules. Every other post office in the US in multiple states allows padded envelopes to be sent with a tracking number. When I tried twice to do this at this location, both of the counter people were rude, surly, and dismissive. They gave me a take it, or leave it attitude, and would not even consider listening. Even other reviews talk about these unfriendly and grumpy counter people. Really, if you hate your job this much and don’t like working with people, then find another job, please!
Other reviews stating the lady at the front is rude and has an attitude is right. No one was at the front when I came in, door was open, and I had to repeatedly say "hello" for someone in the back to come out. When she did come out, she had the worst attitude towards me for just doing her job. I just needed to drop off a package and the amount of rudeness and attitude she has just for a qr code package is insane. I get that work is hard these days dealing with the public but I was really nice and and kept a friendly attitude. I also work with the public so I get it but jesus lady.
Well, ya know, it's the USPS. It's not a restaurant or a nail salon. They don't work for tips, and it's a hard job, even when you don't have to deal with the public. But who else is going to take a hand addressed letter from a 12 year old in Brooklyn, PDX, and deliver it to, idk..say... Perth. For $0.45? Anyone??..that's right, nobody but the USPS. This is our little neighborhood post office, and I, for one, appreciate their hard work. Also, I've never had an issue or seen anyone have an issue here at this particular branch. Smells fine, too.
I like this us pistol office location, its usually not very busy, employees sometimes grumpy but helpful and consistent. I have been to a lot of different locations around Portland metro area and I think this location is my favorite. it's not a big office but it has almost everything needed to send out package.
