Need to get better signs for when trucks enter to deliver. I had to pull back onto the street, turn around just to get a truck inspection. When expected, watched 6 trucks needing to turn around and go back onto the street. Come on Boeing.
Thank you all for the family day experience!! I had a great time and seeing the factory was wonderful opportunity to appreciate all the work that goes in to making a airplane. I do wish there were more opportunities to have employees on hand to explain a little at the different shops though
Make sure you have your passport paperwork in order. Load and unload is quick and efficient. After hours may be different because there are limited forklifts available.
Drove group to location and was told it was ok to go along with my group. Sat down then was asked to leave. No explanation Then was escorted out to park bus off of the property a few miles away. Returned when group was finished. Thought it was a little overboard concerning security. I have had several background checks and I am entrusted with children on my bus yet I was treated like a suspect. Won't take any group there again. It was humiliating.
