This is my "home" Starbucks- right by my apartment- and luckily for me- also the location that sets a standard of excellence that is second to none. The utopian, idyllic Starbucks that everyone dreams of having in their lives--and per usual- always one upping themselves- they have extended their hours. As if perfection wasn't already achieved, I nearly passed out due to peak nirvana upon discovering the sign with their extended hours. Luckily, I was in the car and thus already sitting down. Also important to note is the staff: unusually excellent and exceptionally pleasant to interact with. They do set the bar for all Starbucks near and far, even inquiring if I would like to add a shot to my Frappuccino "affogato." I was bemused at the suggestion - a word I didn't know? And even more alarming-something about coffee that I wasn't aware of. Feeling humbled and overcome with anticipation, I just knew that this barista had put me onto something that would change life as I knew it, and my bank account. But I didn't care, coffee is my passion, and her suggestion did not disappoint. I don't play for investment purposes. And these are my people. Always just one step ahead.
