I have been consistently impressed by the quality of care that I have received at Providence facilities, most particularly the Cardiac Care department! I have never felt so cared-for as I have while being treated for my major heart issues (aneurysm repair, valve replacement and double bypass). Their astute questioning and follow-up have saved me a few times already since the surgery!

I have always considered Providence as a top notch hospital, having. been in their ER several times over the years and been hospitalized for intestinal obstructions. However, my last visit a week ago for a lingering cough for two weeks was quite a surprise, as I waited for four hours to get a room and see a doctor. My biggest concern was possibly pneumonia due to two weeks of severe bronchitis waking me up at night. Triage took blood work, EKG, chest X-ray and vitals. Blood pressure up to 147 over 100, much higher than normal. I've been under enormous stress lately due to personal issues and feeling sick for two weeks. . They sent me back to the lobby where I waited from 7 to 11 pm. The lobby was full when I got there, but had emptied out considerably by 11. I didn't understand why the wait was so long, seeing several people who showed up after me getting rooms! I finally talked to the intake gal at the front desk and asked her when I might be seen l. She was very curt, telling me I was the fourth longest patient still waiting. I then told her I needed to go home to cook for my son and tend to my dog. She seemed very uncaring and said they would call me to come back if need be. I never got a call from a doctor the next day informing me of all the tests they had done and after care instructions.. My blood pressure was taken four hours after I first got there, and the results were the same. I was going to ask the doctor about hypertension medication as Dr. Dudrey will not prescribe me any. I've addressed my concerns with him several times, but he seems uninterested. This visit was a waste of time, and I feel as though the. neglect of care and inability to see a doctor was just another example of utter dislike for me

I went for an MRI of my head. I had never had an MRI so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Once I got in the machine I panicked. The technician was so kind and patient with me, he ended up asking his coworker that worked on a little bigger machine if he had time to take me. He said I’d have to wait but I was happy to wait. I took a sedative and 45min later Dave squeezed me in his busy schedule to see if the bigger machine would be better. He was also very kind and patient with me and we got it done! I would give them 100 stars if I could! Thank you from one very scared mom

The care that I received here was above and beyond. Nurses, doctors and all other staff are professional and knowledgeable. I’ve never had such a good experience. This all came at a very delicate moment in my life, and I was handled with amazing care both medically and as a person.

I want to thank the amazing woman, nurse, Michele L Beck, who works in the Short Stay department. On December 2, 2025, at the Providence Hospital, I had knee surgery to replace the joint. From 5 PM-5 AM. Michele L Beck looked after me all night, she put all her love, tenderness, and such sincere care. She is so noble and showed such feelings of compassion and help to me, I felt under such protection, the comfort that she created for me, such care, tenderness, she gave me what the best mothers on the planet do for their children... I just bow deeply to such medical workers, she gave me so much attention, help and warmth. Thank you very much! Tatyana Bouwman . I’m 63 year’s old
