Awesome staff first and foremost. Friendly to People and animals! There is a wide selection of cat and dog foods, treats, toys, pet furniture, and grooming supplies. Highly recommend if you care about your animals well being and don't just buy the garbage you see at every supermarket.
Amazing store with the best selection for all my pets needs. Clean, well stocked and has great business hours. However, the very best part of the shop is the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff!
The staff is always excited to greet my dog and give him treats. They always take the time to help out when I have questions and order stock for you specifically when you ask. They're so sweet and what I love about shopping local.
This place is fantastic! They have a wide range of products, and their staff is incredibly knowledgeable about dogs (probably other pets too), but I have two doggies. As someone who just moved to Portland from the East Coast 1.5 years ago, I was initially recommended the MB pet store by others. Yet, I was always disappointed in their pricing, and most recently had terrible experiences with their staff. I decided to try Pet Loft on a whim and have been going back ever since. This staff is much more friendly and accommodating, which is nice when you have picky eaters. MB staff always gave me the impression that they thought my request for samples was a way to get free food - it absolutely is not. I’m also a woman of color, and those little microaggressions stack up and become painful. Anyway, thanks Pet Loft for serving the community 🤓🐶🥰
Update: the more we come here the more I love it. The service is always friendly, you're supporting local. Original: Nice little pet store. Excellent cat and dog food section in the back! The store has all the usual items with a few sustainable and/or unique things blended in. We picked up a hand made wool kitty bed for example.
