I remember being Dr. Mathai’s patient before there ever was an Oregon Health DPC. The reason I chose Dr. Mathai is because he never dismissed anything as unimportant. It’s my experience that not many doctors accept fibromyalgia patients and the ones who do usually attribute every symptom to fibromyalgia. Not so with Dr. Mathai, which is why I transferred my care when he started Oregon health DPC. He treated me for a couple of complaints that had been plaguing me for sometime and were dismissed and attributed to fibromyalgia by other doctors. Dr. Mathai listens patiently to my unending questions and comes up with several solutions; he takes time to explain each solution so I can choose the one most comfortable for me. I also happen to have seen Dr. McCallum a couple of times when Dr. Mathai was unavailable and I must say that she’s an excellent doctor too. Last but not least I must mention The amazing Jesse who’s always there running the clinic and helping me whenever I come in unexpectedly. One more thing I should mention is that the retainer fee is so reasonable for the access to doctors and amazing treatment you get at this clinic… I can’t say enough good things about them.
