Jeffery is an amazing teacher! I’m new to bass and he absolutely helped me up my skill level. He came really prepared to each lesson and gave me helpful sheets to support learning between sessions. He also created some tabs for me based on specific songs I wanted to learn. He’s really knowledgeable, kind, patient and truly loves teaching. Highly, highly recommend!
I have been taking bass lessons with Jeffrey for some time now and can say that he is the best music teacher I've had. The lessons remain exciting because we work on music I'm interested in and actually want to learn while still incorporating the fundamentals of music. He is patient and goes into great detail while teaching so I know exactly how to do things and that I do them properly. I've made so much progress since taking lessons with him, and he's always there to provide encouragement and guide me on how to better my skills. I definitely recommend him as a teacher if you are interested in learning an instrument.
Jeff was my online bass teacher for almost a year and really helped me develop my skills and knowledge of the instrument. I was a little skeptical about doing lessons online at first but he has a great setup to make the lesson feel just as beneficial as an in person lesson. Totally recommend he is very intelligent and knowledgeable teacher.
Jeff is a flat-out incredible teacher, and an outstanding music teacher at that. He is patient and truly meets you where you are at on top of a great balance between music theory and music itself. He makes learning fun and easy to understand and really accommodates different play styles and natural abilities/setbacks. I had hit a wall in my bass skill before taking lessons with him and in a month and a half I have made incredible progress. I wish I could give 6 stars :)
Learning both bass guitar and electric guitar with Jeff has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my musical journey. Not only have I improved tremendously as a player, but I've also gained a solid understanding of music theory that has completely transformed the way I approach the instrument. What really sets Jeff apart from other teachers is his ability to tailor lessons to your goals. Whether you're looking to play professionally or just want to jam with friends for fun, Jeff knows exactly how to guide you. Lessons are always engaging, structured, and filled with practical takeaways I can immediately apply to my playing. I wanted to learn how to play like Sublime, and within a few lessons I was already rocking out to a good portion of their music catalogue! He strikes the perfect balance between technical instruction and creative freedom—something that's rare and incredibly valuable. Thanks to him, I feel confident, capable, and excited every time I pick up both my bass and my guitar. I can't recommend Jeff highly enough. If you're serious about getting better and actually understanding the music you play, this is the teacher you want.
