Great place to stop into before or after a movie. Typical McMenamins menu, wide selection on drinks, their specialty drink menu is inventive. Happy employees, a lot of them long term. Bartenders are very experienced. Clean rest rooms. Just keep in mind they for the most part are older and many historical restaurants, bars and hotel.

More reviews on GoogleTerrible food and service, beautiful facility: a Portland tale as old as time. If it wasn't the bartender being a jerk and not managing the crowd, it was their friends being catty and rude to patrons as they waited. Food order was completely messed up and server dropped food and walked away ignoring all pleas to return. I'll go back when the whole staff churns in six months because the facility is cool.
We had such a fun night here! Service is fabulous! Atmosphere on point. Lots of pool tables and shuffleboard. The bar is huge, tons of seating and different levels to hang out. You can reserve a private room and the servers assist with any food or drink orders. Bartenders were great and knowledgeable and very friendly. Parking is all street. Just a great bar that was super fun!
Excellent place to play a few rounds of Pool! They have 4 pool tables but you wouldn’t know it unless you explored the upstairs areas. They have two tables downstairs and two in separate rooms upstairs. Check out the upstairs area for a completely different experience. In addition to pool, they have an extremely long shuffleboard table and some pinball machines in the foyer. The bar is stacked with spirits of all kinds, there is beautiful art on the walls, screens everywhere (including a humongous drop down projection screen during big games), and insanely high vaulted ceilings with fabulous chandeliers. The ambiance is far and above what the normal hole in the wall bars can achieve which makes this place a must see. Ryan was our server and helped to make the experience seamless. You can order food which is delivered from the Mcmenamins next door. I believe pets are welcome at the outdoor seating area. Thanks to the staff and management for making this trip to the bar an adventure to remember!
We went last night to play pool ($6/hr) and grab some drinks. The space is beautiful and the drinks were good, (though it was clear the bartenders were stressed and stretched thin), and a pool table opened up pretty quickly. Unfortunately the cost/quality of food brought down the overall experience. I can't find a menu online to confirm but I believe this tiny spinach artichoke dip was $12-14 with a lot of the actual dip hardened at the bottom. The tendies were $20 and while we got a decent amount of chicken there were about ten total tots on the plate. Even with inflation these costs would only be justifiable with better quality.
