While their team seems to want to help, they do have limitations. I went in with severe pain in upper stomach for ulcer. After a few tests, I was told they cant help me because I am not throwing up Blood and they dont staff people to handle this problem. Now have to wait 3 weeks to se a regular doctor while in severe pain.

More reviews on GoogleWent to the ER after being hit by a car and they refused to do the proper x-rays. Accident was not my fault I was a pedistrian and they treated me like I was an inconvenience. I told them impact was on my knee and they never x-rayed and said everything was fine when in fact it wasn't. If they would have done their jobs correctly they would have discovered I had damage done to my meniscus area. Instead the two girl were laughing and making jokes at my expense as I was asking them to do their job. This hospital is a joke
The doctors and nurses in the emergency department were awesome. They took time to explain exactly what was going on with my aunt after she passed out. They made sure that everything they did was well communicated and they kept us smiling with little jokes too. For an emergency trip on Christmas Eve it was a pretty good experience.
I was sent to collections for a bill my insurance paid 2 weeks prior, and I was 100% willing to pay MY PORTION. I received one bill. I called Legacy and my insurance and address the first issue (coordination of benefits, which we don’t have any other insurance) . I received a second bill. So, I called my insurance again. They stated they had requested additional information from the provider, multiple times, with no response. So, they were unable to process the claim. I call Legacy again, to address this next issue. They said they will send this information through to the provider, and I was told to disregard all other billing until further notice. Wellll, further noticed involved a call saying if I don’t pay the balance in full, right then and there, I will be sent to collections. I said, “no, I will be calling my insurance.” I did just that and got a confirmation of when the check was sent, check number, and a confirmation number from the insurance company. I call Legacy back and get a different rep. She seemed more understanding. I gave her all the information the insurance gave me. And said, “I have no problem paying my $100 portion”. She said she needed to verify the payment and they will be in touch. Welllll, that didn’t turn out so well either for me. Next thing I know I’m getting a collection notice. Weird that it was only for the $100 I owed because they did apply the insurance payment..but why was I sent to collections?? I called legacy again. I paid my balance through legacy, but I don’t agree with being sent to collections. The rep said she can only request the collection be pulled and I can follow up with her next week. But why, why is my credit a target when I have been working with BOTH parties to get this resolved?? It’s a broken system that NEEDS to be fixed!!
Went to the ER on Monday 12/22 around 12:30pm. A nurse tried to place an IV and messed it up. I was yelling in pain and she just kept pushing it and trying to flush it. My husband had to ask her to stop trying because she was hurting me. Leaving this review Thursday 12/25 evening (almost 10pm) and this is the state of my arm!! For a comparison, my other arm shows my veins are easy to access and I’ve never had a nurse do this with an IV before. Out of fear and caution, I told them not to try another IV. Horrible experience! Some of the nurses were caring but some were definitely rotten apples, even cussing. The doctor could care less about our questions and only wanted to use AI to take notes so he wouldn’t have to take time to actually type anything. I would be fine with that if in compensation he cared about the patients. We would rather drive 20-30 minutes to a different hospital in the future than go to this one which is closest to us.
