I was looking for a hard to find Jellyfish Nee Doh that has been sold out everywhere. When I called they were out. I got a call back about an hour later from the sweetest employee who told me they just had gotten them in if I wanted to come by. I am so grateful she thought of me and made that call! The store is darling. 5 stars!!
I don't have kids myself and can get lost when I do have to buy for kids. Kids At Heart is kind of a one stop shop for me. Dense and varied selection, from plushies to STEM toys for older kids, fidgets, and of course, buckets of plastic dinosaurs. Staff are friendly and helful when they have time (gets slammed before Christmas). The will gift wrap, and do a great job. Parking lot in the back is clutch for busy weekends on Hawthorne.
The perfect toy store! So full of cute, quality, fun toys. It's a good thing we don't live closer or I'd be spending my whole paycheck.
Came here the day after thanksgiving after work to grab a bunch of toys for the Equitable Giving Circle toy drive and the staff was so pleasant, helpful, and kind. They kept a running tab for me so I wouldn’t go toooooo crazy haha but it was so easy to buy so many great toys, gifts, and art supplies. Great toy store, reminded me of going to Finnegans back in the day.
What a great toy store on Hawthorne. Amazing selection of all sorts of toys for all ages of kids. Way better than one of these big box retailers. A great local toy store
