My daughter went in twice trying to open a bank account and spent an incredibly long frustrating amount of time trying to do so. The first time she read through the required documents on their website and brought her government ID and her ssn. They kept her their an hour trying to verify her ssn so I emailed her tax return for her to show them. She went back again today and brought her passport and offered her W-2 and waited while they continued to assess if they could open her account without a physical social security card - which I have never heard of before and is not required on their own website. She has provided her driver's license, passport, opening funds, tax return, W-2 and is still being told that they need to find out if they can open her account without her card.

As an existing member, I was very disappointed in the service I received today. I went in to open a business account. I spoke with Matt Bacon and a blond lady with fake eyelashes. Matt was rude and smirkey. He advised me that I need to have an article of organization typed up. He said I can find one the internet that would need to be filled out. They both were standing around talking, not doing anything. If they really wanted to help they could have easily printed one out and helped me set up my account. Definitely won’t be opening my business account with IQ anymore.

Highly recommend iQ Credit Union. They have a great reputation for friendly service, helpful staff, and making banking straightforward and reliable.

Occasional issues with depositing cash at ATMs was pretty much the hassle.

I have had nothing but amazing service from this team and just recently was approved to have my high interest loan transfer over to a 1.99% balance transfer which will alleviate so much monthly. Kudos to Megan Bentley for this amazing service and help on the process.
