Classic Pianos Portland was our first of three stops. We never need the others. We were specifically interested in uprights for our piano education program. Their selection of uprights, grands, new, and used was outstanding. Taylor made us feel like a member of the family. His talent, patience, and insights were a tremendous help as we decided on the perfect B3 for our students. Classic Pianos Portland offers a trade-up policy, and incentives for educators. These business practices were the best we’ve ever seen in the industry. I would encourage anyone seriously interested in a lifetime of quality instruments to consider calling Taylor and trying out their selection.

We had a great experience at Classic Pianos. Taylor was fantastic to work with! We were so excited to get our new grand piano home and play it! We started noticing a few notes weren’t playing as clear as we had hoped. After reaching back out to Taylor, we were scheduled with Adam and he came to our home, tuned the piano and got it back to sounding perfect! We were so grateful to have everything taken care of under warranty! They were both so fantastic to work with! So pleased and we highly recommend them!!

Hands down, Classic Pianos in Portland is the best experience I could have imagined when buying a piano. From the very beginning, the staff made the shopping process enjoyable, informative, and completely pressure-free. Taylor really took the time to understand what I was looking for, showed me a range of options that fit my needs, and patiently answered all of my questions. It felt like Taylor and his colleagues genuinely cared about matching me with the right piano rather than just making a sale. The delivery process was seamless and professional. The team treated the instrument and my home with such care, making the whole thing stress-free. It was impressive to see how much pride they took in their work, ensuring every detail was handled perfectly. What really sets Classic Pianos apart, though, is the follow-through after the purchase. A few weeks later, they arranged for a tuning service to make sure the piano was sounding its absolute best once it had settled into my home. That level of service and attention to detail made me feel truly valued as a customer. Daniel was the tuning specialist, and he went above and beyond to make the piano sound perfect! I can’t recommend Classic Pianos highly enough—whether you’re a first-time buyer or an experienced player, this is the place to go. They make the entire journey, from browsing to playing your first notes at home, an absolute joy.

We had a great experience at Classic Pianos. We met Fred Riley from the sales team and it was like a piano tour. Starting from the auditorium, history of the family owned business and the showroom full of professional , intermediate and beginner level pianos with different kinds of piano brands. Fred was explaining very patiently and helping us to take the decision rather pushing us to buying a piano. He was being really honest and helped a lot to select the ideal piano according to our requirement and the budget. Thank you Fred for all the help to bringing our first Grand piano home. I highly recommend Classic piano for all piano needs.

While in town for an appraiser conference, I stopped in to this lovely piano dealership and Fred Riley gave me an amazing tour of all this old world shop is doing. The time they spend reconditioning their pianos and preparing them for sale is truly impressive! I met Brian, the owner, as well and heard the history of this family run business. They even offer accommodations to folk coming from out of town to select a piano. Buying a piano is not a matter to rush or take lightly. This is a dealership one can trust.
