More reviews on GoogleBest place I've ever taken my car! I'm not very knowledgable about cars and have been taken advantage of at other shop but I know Canyon Auto has my best interest in mind, Aaron is super communicative and kept me updated on every test they ran and how long my car would be in the shop. So grateful for them and their services :)
Carmax wanted $200 to even look in my direction when my 2012 Toyota Camry was showing a dash light for maintenance and for my tire pressure sensor being out. Aaron took time out of his day to check what codes the system was throwing and reset my tpms for a handshake and a smile. Top notch professionalism and a warm welcome in a stressful situation. Will definitely be coming back for any and all of my car needs.
Aaron did an excellent job helping us with a pre-purchase inspection. The tech was friendly and clear, and they helped me understand the issues with the car so I could make an informed decision. Service was prompt and courteous, and I was able to get scheduled the same day which was perfect.
Short version: If you're frantically googling to find the right place for repair or maintenance, just go with Canyon Auto Repair. They do outstanding work, have excellent customer service, and offer very fair/transparent pricing. After my first experience with them, I'd trust them with any future issue. Full version: I woke up yesterday to every error message my Civic could possibly throw at me when I started it. I'm not a car guy by any stretch and was panicked. I originally had booked an appointment with the Honda dealership (emphasis on not a car guy) because I didn't know what else to do. As I sat next to the tow truck driver trying to keep my cool, he recommended against going to the dealership and recommended Canyon instead. I called Canyon from the tow truck and they were able to get me in right away. I was greeted with genuine warmth from Aaron as soon as I walked in the door. He gave me an overview of what to expect and assured me he would keep me up to date. Within two hours, I got my first update along with some clarifying questions about my experience of the issue. Aaron continued to call with any material updates throughout the process and included an estimation of the cost which he generously made efforts to reduce. Just over 24 hours elapsed from when I dropped off my car to when I picked it up in perfect working condition. Within that time they diagnosed the issue, made 4 calls to update me, remediated the issue, and verified the efficacy of the repair by spending extra time with the car to ensure no other issues occurred (at no extra cost to me). At the time of pick-up, Aaron gave me the final cost which was 11% lower than the original estimate. I thanked him and without hesitation he told me to "pay it forward". After all that stress, I almost shed a tear. He took some extra time to talk to me about the issue, to answer my questions, and to offer some guidance about how to prevent the issue from reoccurring (something had chewed its way through some apparently delectable wire insulation). We ended the conversation with him saying that if the error pops back up, just come straight back to the shop, no appointment necessary. Being a guy who knows next to nothing about cars, when something goes wrong, I get stressed. Going to a repair shop means putting a lot of trust into absolute strangers to fix something I know nothing about and hoping that they don't take advantage of that ignorance. Aaron and the team at Canyon calmed that anxiety easily by keeping me up to date, offering accessible and easily understandable explanations, and by being both completely transparent and exceedingly fair (to the point of generosity) about cost. I found my new spot for any and all of my car needs. They've earned my trust and business for as long as I live in this area. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with them. Thank you again, Aaron and team.
